The Little Knit Kitty

This is a fun, cheap, quick, easy project (I can usually finish one anywhere between 1 and 3 days, depending on how much time I spend knitting of course), great for beginners since all the parts are worked flat and then seamed... This was the first stuffed toy I ever made, and I pulled it off, so you should be OK!

The finished Kitty should be about 6 1/2 in. or 15 cm tall. Gauge is not important for this pattern, and you should be able to make with only 1 skein. Use a lightweight/thin yarn so you have to use small needles; that way, the fabric will be nice and tight and the stuffing has a harder time sneaking out.

FINISHING
Seam Head/Body, stuffing lightly before sewing closed.
With embroidery floss (any color/s you like), embroider straight st eyes, nose and whiskers. Fold cast on edge of Ears and sew to Head. Seam ends of rows of Tail sew to back of Body. Seam Legs and Arms, stuff lightly before sewing closed and sew them to Body.
Weave in ends.
